Inikah Pendidikan

Inilah Pendidikan

Penamaan semula seluruh institusi pendidikan...

PENDIDIKAN TOTAL
Terdapat 8 peringkat pendidikan total, iaitu:

* Pusat Pendidikan Awal
* Pusat Pendidikan Asas
* Pusat Pendidikan Persiapan
* Institut Pendidikan
* Kolej Pendidikan
* Universiti Pendidikan
* Universiti Pendidik
* Universiti Jaya Malaysia

Terlebih dahulu, pendidikan bukan pelajaran.
Pendidikan bukan pengajian tinggi.
 Tempat individu dididik disebut bilik didikan, maklmal didikan, dewan didikan.

Oh wow. Have been busy and didn't go blog surfing recently. Missed this great opportunity to share with people my thoughts too.

Anyway, saw the news of this forum on Dato' Wee's Facebook.

Just to share some of my opinions here. I share the sentiments of Datuk Mukhriz Tun Mahathir and the essence of the call for the vernacular schools to be abolished.

I understand the true meaning behind it and I was wondering if Pakatan Rakyat supports it too since they are all for 1 Malaysia.

However, as much as I like 1 Sekolah, we have to be clear of somethings. The way the petition was structured, it seems more like Anti Vernacular school to me.

It is clearly unprofessional, at least in my humble opinions.

Also, the 1 Sekolah must not cover only Vernacular schools that seem to side the Chinese and Indians only (since they are jenis Cina dan Tamil).

We must understand that 1 Sekolah under 1 Malaysia must mean that education is accessible for all without conditions of race, status, wealth or any form that carry the meaning of discrimination.

As such, I hope that in 1 Sekolah, if vernacular schools are to be scrapped, so must MARA and MRSM schools.

I was told that SAR must not be part of this scrap. I respect the status of Malaysia as Islamic Nation, thus perhaps we leave SAR out.

But again, if vernacular schools are to go due to disunity, MARA and MRSM must go too.

This will then be truly 1 Malaysia, 1 Sekolah Untuk Semua. Not anti vernacular petition.

I agree that there are alot of vernacular schools but that does not justify the reasons for MARA and MRSM schools to continue if vernacular schools are to get off the Government education policy.

Vernacular schools, MRSM and MARA schools should be off the national education policy if it is to be 1 Sekolah Untuk Semua.

However, we should leave these schools to continue to exist legally and constitutionally under Private Iniative Fundings (i.e. no government role).

That will be a win-win solution for all.

Good to hear that Malaysians are sharing their views and opinions to build a better Malaysia.
